Here’s your chance to sip some of the best that Washington has to offer… It’s time once again for Taste Washington, brought to you by the Washington Wine Association.

Speaking from personal experience, if you are interested in learning about wine then the Grand Tasting (April 6) is not to be missed. Lot’s of great wine to try, winemakers to chat with, and scrumptious samples from local gourmet restaurants to snack on. What better way to spend an afternoon? I do have a few tips to share if you plan to attend:

• designate a driver, or better yet take a taxi
• it’s socially acceptable, even cool to spit when you taste wine
• grab a bottled water the moment you walk in, they go fast
• enjoy!
